17 November Covid Restrictions
Current restrictions means our Church and buildings are once again closed.
Tree Planting Ceremony
After torrential rain on Saturday we were blessed with a break in the weather for our Jubilee Harvest Service on Sunday, 4 October. We gathered in the church gardens afterwards to bring to a close our Narrative of Generosity: Earth series and dedicate our Tree Planting Ceremony to our Youth Organisations.
BB update
I’m glad to be able to report that things have moved on for the Company in the last few weeks, as BBUK have now given permission for us to resume face-to-face activity outdoors.
We have been running Monday evening outdoor activity for 4 weeks now at local parks. From a basic programme of games, we are starting to build in a wider range of activities as part of the BB award scheme, and will continue to offer the boys as broad a range of opportunities as possible.
Telephone ministry
We have now launched our On Demand Worship service provided in Partnership with Greyfriars Parish Church Lanark.
You can now dial 0141 815 1335 to listen to our Sunday service of Worship from your landline.
All calls will be charged at your local call rate.
Recordings will be uploaded after each Sunday service and be available from 12.30 pm onwards.
We are open for worship
Following the easing of some of the restrictions and having completed all the appropriate risk assessments we were able to re-open for Worship on Sunday the 30th of August at a reduced capacity.
We are currently only permitted to have a maximum of 50 for worship including the minister, ushers, volunteers assisting with the service, musicians, and children from the Sunday Club. There are still many restrictions in place but we welcome this news to once again come together in faith.
